For the dinner table

Allah has given us countless blessings, including our senses, families, homes, and many blessings we do not notice. The khutbah teaches that gratitude begins by recognizing these gifts as coming from Allah and using them in ways that please Him. We should thank Allah with our words and hearts, thank people who help us, and show gratitude through worship and good actions. A simple practice is to spend a few minutes before bed remembering the day’s blessings and saying alhamdulillah.
