For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that yesterday cannot return, tomorrow is not guaranteed, and today is a gift from Allah. He encouraged us to learn from the past and use our time well instead of staying trapped in regret. Remembering death and our accountability before Allah can help us take worship, our actions, and our money choices seriously. He especially encouraged young people to make good use of their youth, and everyone to appreciate health, time, freedom, and life while they have them. He ended by encouraging support for the masjid and reminding us that ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child's dua can bring reward even after we die.
