For the dinner table

Today we were reminded that worldly success is temporary, so money, status, and entertainment should not push our purpose aside. Allah gives each of us abilities and responsibilities through which we can worship Him and serve people. Delaying prayer, learning, repentance, or meaningful work can become a habit, so we should use our youth, health, time, wealth, and life while we have them. We can begin by learning our faith, improving our worship, and making our family and community better. We pray to meet Allah pleased with the effort we made.

  1. What purpose or responsibility do you think Allah may have given you?
  2. What is one good thing you can do now instead of postponing it?
  3. How could our family make our community better this week?
