For the dinner table

The first khateeb reminded us that a caring community grows when each of us helps build it. We can contribute time, knowledge, practical help, or good advice, while also respecting the needs of our bodies and families. Working together takes humility, patience, forgiveness, and room to learn from mistakes. The second khateeb encouraged us to prepare for Jumu'ah ahead of time, arrive without disturbing others, and listen quietly. He also encouraged reading Surah Al-Kahf, making du'a, and sending blessings upon the Prophet. Small family traditions, such as sharing a special Friday meal, can help our children look forward to this day and grow in their love for Allah.
