For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah taught us that serving others is one of the greatest qualities Allah can give us. When we help people, Allah promises to help us, and that benefit can reach us in this life and the next. Service can mean easing someone’s debt, hiding a person’s faults, offering advice, giving a cheerful greeting, or using our skills to help. When each person contributes sincerely, the whole Muslim community becomes stronger and Allah makes difficult paths easier.
