For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah taught us to treat this life as a place where we prepare for the Hereafter. We can enjoy our lawful share of the world while remembering that our lasting home is with Allah. Acts such as sunnah prayers, regular dhikr, repentance, and good deeds help us build that future. The speaker warned us not to let work, money, or family distract us from Allah, and to avoid haram earnings. We should hope that meeting Allah will be joyful because we have spent our lives preparing for it.
