For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that our relationship with Allah is the most valuable part of our lives. He encouraged us to make time each day for dhikr and dua, even if it is only a couple of minutes. He also explained that voluntary charity expresses our faith and trust in Allah. Through a story about waiting for something important, he encouraged patience and gratitude when life does not follow our preferred timing. He reminded us that being servants of Allah gives us dignity and confidence, including when we feel small or out of place.
