For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that the Quran is a guide to why we are here, how to live, and where we are going. Since people forget and get distracted, we should regularly reflect on whether our choices prepare us to return to Allah. Success is not perfection: we should aim firmly, stay close when we fall short, and keep making tawbah while trusting Allah's mercy. We can learn about Allah through His names and attributes, then let that knowledge shape our actions. Holding fast to the Quran also means strengthening Muslim brotherhood across our differences.
