Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
The khateeb reminded us that faith includes both believing in the Prophet and trying to follow his guidance. He focused on living well among people of different faiths by feeding others, spreading peace, and building friendships. The story of Mus'ab ibn Umayr showed how patience, humility, and good character can open hearts. We were encouraged to serve sincerely for Allah, pray Tahajjud, care for relatives, and invite neighbors and friends to share meals.
- Who could we invite for a meal or welcome more warmly this week?
- What is one way we can build peace in our community?
- Why might private prayer make our good deeds more sincere?
