Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that life is a test, and that we will one day answer to Allah for how we lived it. Prayer comes first among the deeds we must take seriously, so we should repair missed prayers and improve how we pray. We will also be asked about our blessings, our time, our youth, our money, and the knowledge we received. When we see wrongdoing, we should speak wisely when able, or leave the situation if we cannot change it. The best preparation is to repent, practice what we learn, and use Allah's gifts responsibly.

  1. What blessing in our home do we usually overlook?
  2. How can we make our prayers more careful this week?
  3. What is one piece of knowledge we should put into practice?
