For the dinner table

Today’s reminder was that Muslims carry a special responsibility to make goodness visible in society. That work begins with changing ourselves, listening to our children, and supporting good ideas such as caring for the environment and serving the community. We should act with the same integrity in private and public, remembering that our manners can invite people toward Islam. The khutbah ended by asking Allah to guide us, bless our families and youth, heal the sick, forgive the deceased, and help us become better believers.
