For the dinner table

The khateeb taught that a child can never fully repay the kindness and sacrifices of a parent. Even a small expression of annoyance is wrong, and greater harm is clearly forbidden. He warned against making parents feel less important than a spouse or children. Having living parents is a great blessing and an opportunity to serve them. If parents have died, we should continue showing kindness through dua and good deeds.
