Gratitude turns worldly blessings into lasting good

“It's not just words you utter.”

The khateeb, at 19:44

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that happiness grows through faith, generosity, and remembering Allah. Health, a safe home, daily food, and loving family relationships are blessings we can easily overlook. Islam allows us to enjoy good things and pursue success while earning lawfully and following the guidance of our faith. The happiness of this world is temporary, while the happiness of the hereafter is lasting and complete. We can show gratitude through prayer, giving, and good deeds, using what Allah has given us in ways that please Him.

  2. How could you enjoy something you love while remembering Allah?
