For the dinner table

Today, Imam Syed Hassan Ali invited us to reflect on Ayat-ul-Kursi, verse 255 of Surah al-Baqarah. He explained that Allah sustains all existence, knows what we do not know, and never needs sleep or rest. He also reminded us that people have different talents and that learning can bring joy to ourselves and others. He encouraged reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi before bed and after the obligatory prayers, connecting these habits with Allah's protection and the hope of Paradise. He closed by asking Allah to help us learn from the Quran every day, ease the suffering of people around the world, and make us people who bring hearts together.
