The khateeb described a trade with Allah that will never fail: connecting with the Quran, establishing prayer, and giving for Allah’s sake. He reminded us that everything we have, even our breath, comes from Allah. Our connection with the Quran should include reading, understanding, and putting its teachings into practice. He encouraged us to give prayer our attention by remembering that Allah is watching us and praying as though it could be our last prayer. He also explained that charity, given privately or openly, is a proof of faith with rewards in the hereafter. His message invites us to trust Allah’s promise and make these three actions priorities in our daily lives.

  1. What is one Quran teaching you could put into practice tomorrow?
  2. What could help you slow down and pay attention during prayer?
  3. What is something you value that you could share or give to help someone?
