For the dinner table

Shaykh Yahya reminded us that Allah created us with a purpose: to know Him and worship Him. Worship includes prayer, but it also includes everyday actions done for Allah’s sake, such as caring for our families and neighbors. Islam offers guidance throughout our lives and teaches us to care for our beliefs, actions, and hearts. That means paying attention to our intentions and learning to let go of envy when others receive blessings. He also encouraged us to make the masjid a place of kindness and healing, where newcomers are welcomed and receive lasting care.
