For the dinner table

Our homes are blessings from Allah: places where we rest, feel secure, and prepare to serve Him. The khateeb said a family needs more than food, clothing, and shelter; children need tarbiyya, meaning moral formation and responsibility. Marriage grows through mawadda, love shown in action, and mercy, because spouses are imperfect and must forgive. Parents teach faith best by letting children see them pray, fast, and live their values. Family members should help one another patiently, guide each other toward good, and share responsibility for the home.

  2. How can each person help carry responsibility in our home?
