For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that Muslims have a purpose beyond work, food, and sleep: we should help share the goodness of Islam. This invitation should come from sincere care, wisdom, good character, and simple everyday actions, not pride or pressure. We are responsible for delivering the message, but Allah controls whether people accept it. Even when the work is difficult, our effort can be meaningful when it is done for Allah.
