For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that leadership begins with caring for people, especially those in our own homes. Parents want their children to become better, so children should speak respectfully and avoid even showing irritation. Spouses and parents should control anger and never use impulsive words, especially divorce words, that can damage a family. We should give close family members our attention, teach children with mercy, and protect our homes through faith and good character.
