For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah focused on Surah Qaf and the need to take Allah’s reminders seriously. We benefit from the Qur’an when we reflect with sincere hearts and listen carefully to the truth. When life is difficult or people mock our faith, we should respond with patience and increase our remembrance of Allah. The sermon also reminded us that resurrection and accountability are certain, so we should prepare through our daily choices. Finally, we were encouraged to understand the Qur’an and let it guide our lives.
