For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah focused on Surah al-Jumu'ah and the blessings Allah gives through guidance and the Prophet Muhammad. Allah is the true King, so we should approach worship with humility rather than pride. Friday gives us special opportunities to prepare well, attend the prayer, remember Allah, send blessings on the Prophet, and make du'a. The family can choose a few of these practices to make part of every Friday.

  1. What is one Friday habit you would like our family to practice more consistently?
  2. What does being a servant of Allah look like at home or school?
  3. Why do you think Friday includes a special time for du'a?
