For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah focused on ihsan, doing every part of life with excellence because Allah always sees us. The speaker reminded us that worldly possessions stay behind, while our deeds go with us. Ihsan should shape prayer, work, family relationships, justice, and kindness to every living creature. We were encouraged to aim high in faith and knowledge while avoiding arrogance and wrongdoing. A practical way to begin is to make one daily action more sincere, careful, and compassionate.
