For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Allah surrounds us with signs, but we can miss them when life feels ordinary. Being special in Islam does not come from our family name, nationality, education, or wealth; it comes from following Prophet Muhammad. When good things happen, we should be grateful and use them well, and when hardship comes, we should be patient and keep worshipping Allah. We can grow by learning the Prophet’s life and practicing qualities such as patience, generosity, appreciation, and compassion.
