For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that the Prophet Muhammad is the best role model for how to live. Following his Sunnah is a sign of sincere love for Allah and His Messenger, and Sunnah includes family life, friendships, food, worship, and daily manners, not only extra prayers or fasting. We should learn about his sacrifices and practices through seerah and hadith so our love grows and our imitation becomes practical. The Prophet also taught balance: choose worship we can sustain instead of exhausting ourselves and quitting. Even small Sunnah habits, done with the intention to follow him, can make an ordinary day an act of worship.

  1. What is one Sunnah manner you would like our family to practice more often?
  2. How can we build a worship habit without burning ourselves out?
  3. What small daily action could become worship if we make the right intention?
