For the dinner table

The khutbah began by honoring a recently deceased scholar and reminding us that scholars carry prophetic knowledge into their communities. It taught that the Prophet’s life is the clearest guide for how Muslims should live. Hardship can build faith, patience, unity, and useful character. We should respond to suffering, including the suffering in Gaza, by examining our own actions and sharing the ummah’s pain. The khutbah closed by asking Allah to guide, forgive, heal, and protect everyone.
