The khateeb, at 24:21

For the dinner table

Today's khutbah reminded us that someone can look healthy on the outside while carrying envy, pride, hatred, or showing off in the heart. A sound heart accepts truth, loves good for others, and is not filled with resentment. When jealousy appears, we can pray for the person, ask Allah for our own blessings, and remember the gifts we already have. Before sleeping, we can check our hearts and try to let go of grudges. The khutbah ended by asking Allah to purify our hearts, unite believers, and help people in Gaza and Palestine.
