Today's khutbah reminded us that loving the Prophet Muhammad means learning about him and following his example. The khateeb shared stories of his prayers for his ummah and his deep concern for people who would believe in him without ever meeting him. He described how the Prophet responded with patience and calmed others when they became angry. He encouraged us to study the Prophet's life, revive his practices, and send peace and blessings upon him, especially when we feel upset. He also reminded us to worship Allah alone and to express our love for the Prophet through care for one another.
