For the dinner table

This khutbah reminds us that loving Prophet Muhammad means more than speaking warmly about him: it means letting his Sunnah guide our choices. The companions valued each teaching deeply and preserved hadith because of that love. We should not choose only the practices we already like or perform worship outwardly without asking how it changes our hearts and behavior. A good beginning is to make time to listen and learn, then practice what we learn in daily life. The speaker also invited families to a Seerah gathering so they can learn, listen, love, and implement together.

  1. What is one Sunnah you know, and how could you practice it this week?
  2. How can you tell when worship is changing the way you treat people?
  3. What might make it hard to choose a Sunnah over what you feel like doing?
