For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that we can become so used to Allah’s blessings that we forget to notice them. Our bodies, families, homes, time, and safety give us many reasons to say Alhamdulillah. The khateeb encouraged us to make praising Allah part of every day. He also explained that gratitude means fulfilling our responsibilities toward the blessings Allah gives us. With money, that includes paying zakah, helping people in need, and caring for family relationships. Together, we can look for ways to make our thanks visible through our actions.

  1. What is one everyday blessing you noticed today, and why does it matter to you?
  2. How could you use something you have to help someone this week?
  3. What could our family do together to put Alhamdulillah into action?
