For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Allah may protect and guide believers in ways we cannot immediately see. The story of Tufail ibn Amr showed how listening with an open heart led him to Islam, and how patience and love eventually helped guide Abu Huraira. We were encouraged to turn honest curiosity into learning, keep inviting people toward good without judging them, and never underestimate the good we can pass on. The khateeb also reflected on how the steadfast faith of people in Gaza has moved others by showing worship, courage, and hope amid grief. Our family can serve Allah by learning more, practicing patient kindness, and sharing what we know.

  1. What is one question about Islam you would like to learn more about?
  2. How could we show patience and love when someone disagrees with us?
  3. What good action might keep helping people after we do it?
