The khutbah teaches that nasihah is much bigger than simply giving advice. It means being sincere, pure, and committed to bringing people and faith together. Muslims show nasihah by worshiping Allah sincerely, accepting the Quran and Sunnah, helping leaders and scholars appropriately, and caring honestly for fellow Muslims. At home and in the community, this means supporting people, protecting their interests, and wanting good for them as we want it for ourselves.
