The khateeb taught that hope for Jannah must be joined with sincere deeds and effort. He urged us to thank Allah, worship Him consistently, correct ourselves before judging others, and care for fellow believers. The story of Ali ibn Yaqteen showed that status and responsibility must never make us forget friends or the community. He encouraged repentance, salawat, respect, and protection from sinful behavior. In the second khutbah, he asked families to support community programs and stop backbiting by controlling their tongues.
