For the dinner table

The imam taught that being religious means more than praying, fasting, reading Quran, or performing Hajj and Umrah. The Prophet’s character was described as the Quran lived out, so worship should shape how we treat people. We should read the Quran carefully, ponder its deeper meanings, and apply what we learn. We should practice truthfulness, keep promises and trusts, guard our chastity and gaze, and keep harm away from others. The khutbah ended with prayers for families, communities, and people suffering in Gaza and other places.
