Today's khutbah taught us that nasiha means sincerity, and that it belongs in our worship, beliefs, and everyday relationships. The khateeb explained that sincerity grows from love for Allah and care for His creation. He encouraged us to approach the Quran and the Prophet's teachings with respect, honest questions, and a willingness to learn the truth. When we offer advice, we should protect people's dignity, speak privately, and aim to help them improve. He also urged constructive criticism of rulers and prayers for the people whose lives they affect, and he closed by asking Allah to relieve suffering and bless our families and community.

  1. What could you say privately to help a friend who made a mistake?
  2. What is a question about the Quran you would like us to explore together?
  3. How can we show someone we care when we disagree with them?
