The khutbah reminds us that the Prophet Muhammad cared deeply about believers, praying for them, crying for his ummah, and hoping to meet those who believed in him without seeing him. Because love grows through knowing someone, we can grow in love for him by learning his life and teachings. We can also show that love by following his Sunnah and sending blessings upon him whenever his name is mentioned, especially on Fridays. The sermon ends by asking Allah to grant us the Prophet's intercession, help suffering people including those in Gaza, and give mercy, healing, and patience to people in need.
