For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Prophet Muhammad is described in the Qur’an as an illuminating lamp. His light appeared in people’s hearts and actions, and his arrival transformed Medina. We grow in love for him by remembering him often, learning his life, spending time with people who practice his way, and bringing his guidance into daily choices. The speaker encouraged us to turn regret into practice and ask Allah to gather us with the Prophet and the righteous. This week, our family can choose one Sunnah to learn and live together.

  1. What is one way the Prophet’s example could bring light to our family this week?
  2. Which Sunnah would you like to learn and practice?
  3. What makes someone a good companion for learning Islam?
