Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
The khutbah taught that loving Allah and the Prophet means learning and following the Prophet’s Sunnah, not just saying we love him. It used Surah al-Duha to remind us of the Prophet’s care, guidance, and the blessings Allah gave him. We were encouraged to care for orphans and people who ask for help, and to practice prophetic generosity. We can also mention Allah’s blessings to encourage good deeds, as long as we are not showing off.
- What is one Sunnah you would like to learn or practice more consistently?
- How can our family show kindness to someone who needs help?
- How can we share something Allah gave us without bragging?
