Quotes
In the khateeb's words

“What's something that can bring more benefit is you being mindful of the Sunnah of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam on a daily basis.”
“In brief, let's make life simple. Let's truly make life simple. Yes, love is tough without a doubt. It has a price of its own.”
Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Today’s khutbah reminded us that love shows in what we do, beyond what we say. The khateeb explained that we express our love for Allah by following Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. He reminded us of Allah’s promise of love and forgiveness for those who follow His Messenger. He also acknowledged that staying faithful and doing good can feel difficult, and he encouraged us to grow in love for the Prophet. Learning about the Prophet’s life brings benefit, and we can carry that learning into everyday life by remembering his Sunnah when we leave home, go through our day, and prepare for bed.
- What is one way you can show love through your actions this week?
- When does doing the right thing feel hard, and how could our family help?
- What is one Sunnah you would like us to learn about and practice together?
