Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

This khutbah teaches that the Prophet Muhammad is the clearest lived example of the Quran, so loving Allah means learning from and following his Sunnah. The khateeb remembers the Prophet's patience and sacrifices through hardship, loss, Ta'if, Badr, and his concern for his ummah. We are encouraged to study seerah and hadith at home with our families and to set aside focused time on Friday for salawat. The goal is to make love for the Prophet an active practice that brings blessing into daily life.

  1. Which part of the Prophet's sacrifice stood out to you, and why?
  2. What could we learn together from a seerah or hadith book this week?
  3. When could we set aside five quiet minutes for salawat?
