For the dinner table

Ramadan was meant to train us, not just to be a month we finish. On Eid, we should carry forward more God-consciousness, obedience, sincerity, and compassion through prayer, Quran reading, avoiding sin one day at a time, private worship, and helping people in need. We should remember people facing hardship nearby and around the world, and believe that those with power must resist oppression. Finally, our community should set aside differences and personal agendas, unite for Allah, and become a source of mercy and strength.
