For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that the Prophet Muhammad and the Ahlul Bayt are examples for every part of daily life. He especially focused on humor: a smile and a kind word can be an act of charity and lift another believer's heart. We should joke gently and truthfully, never using lies, humiliation, pressure, or bad timing. If we fall into sin, we should not give up, because Allah's forgiveness is greater than our wrongdoing. The sermon also encouraged us to keep remembrance and grief for Imam Husayn in our prayers as a source of hope.
