For the dinner table

This khutbah reminds us that disappointment and uncertainty do not mean Allah has abandoned us. Through the story of Musa, the khateeb showed how someone can feel afraid and still keep moving forward with faith. He encouraged us to make an effort and ask Allah for help in everyday tasks as well as difficult moments. We can bring our insecurities to Allah honestly, without pretending to have everything figured out. We also need good companions who help us along the way, and we can be those companions for one another.
