In the khateeb's words

“Felly, y rhai sy'n gallu gwneud yr hyn a allant, ac mae pob un ohonom ni'n gwybod ei gallu.”
Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Today’s khutbah reminded us that caring for others is part of living our faith. The khateeb encouraged us to ease people’s difficulties, including through kindness to those we work with and our own families. He described how even a child could approach the Prophet for help, giving us an example of being available to others. He also encouraged us to seek knowledge and learn together about Allah’s guidance. Remembering people who are suffering, he urged us to make du‘a and do whatever practical good we can while we have the opportunity.
- What could you do this week to make someone’s day a little easier?
- What would help a younger child feel comfortable asking you for help?
- What is one thing about our faith you would like us to learn together?
