For the dinner table

The sermon reminded us that the Prophet Muhammad came as a mercy to humanity. His life teaches us to continue his mission through kindness, noble character, unity, and service. After his death, the Muslim community inherited the responsibility of carrying his message forward. We should begin by repairing our own families and communities, treating women and others with dignity, and refusing to exploit anyone. The khutbah also urged us to respond to suffering and injustice through personal and collective action.

  1. What is one way we can show mercy like the Prophet this week?
  2. How can we respond wisely when people are suffering or being treated unjustly?
