For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that worship is not only private prayer but also helping and caring for other people. He warned that screens and self-centered habits can make us miss the needs of our families. Small acts like kindness, listening, removing harm, and protecting someone’s rights can be greatly rewarded by Allah. We should choose a good deed, do it sincerely, and regularly ask ourselves whether our actions benefit others.

  1. What is one small good deed we can do for someone in our family this week?
  2. When can screens make it harder for us to notice someone who needs help?
  3. What good deed would you want Allah to remember about you?
