Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah taught that saying we love Allah should be proven by following the Prophet Muhammad’s way. That way includes gentle speech, forgiveness, and mercy, even when relationships are difficult. The imam urged us to care for parents, weak people, dependents, neighbors, and all living creatures, while using dhikr to fight anger, hatred, jealousy, and envy. At home and in the mosque, we can turn this teaching into patient words, respectful behavior, and a sincere effort to forgive.

  1. What is one gentle thing you could say or do for someone at home today?
  2. How can remembering Allah help when you feel angry?
  3. Who might need your forgiveness or kindness this week?
