For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Allah has entrusted us with blessings we must not waste. We should use water carefully, avoid throwing away food, and treat our time as a precious opportunity for worship, honest work, family, and service. The speaker also reminded us to pray for people suffering in war and to do our own responsible part. Small habits, when done with sincere intention, can turn everyday life into obedience to Allah.

  1. What is one way our family could waste less water?
  2. How can we make better use of food we already have?
  3. What part of your day could you use more intentionally?
