For the dinner table

Shaykh Zahir reminded us that Allah gives us many blessings, including faith, guidance, and the example of the Prophet Muhammad. He asked us to think about how our hands, feet, eyes, ears, and tongues will bear witness to our actions on the Day of Judgment. Our everyday choices can express the goodness in our hearts through giving, visiting the sick, praying, and speaking well of others. He encouraged us to remember Allah in private, feel grateful for His gifts, and find joy when other people grow in faith. Through the story of Abu Bakr crying with happiness at accompanying the Prophet to Medina, he showed how deeply love and gratitude can move a person. He invited us to look honestly at our habits and make corrections where we need to.
