For the dinner table

Today we remembered Sayyidina Uthman, who was promised Jannah many times because of his faith and service. Yet he still cried when he stood at a grave, reminding us not to become proud of our good deeds. His life teaches generosity, patience, care for the Prophet's family and Sunnah, and modesty in what we say and see. This week, we can give when people need help, protect one another's honor, and turn away from vulgar or inappropriate things. We can also make dua for people who are sick and suffering.

  1. What is one generous thing you could do for someone this week?
  2. What does modesty look like in the way we talk, watch, or use our phones?
  3. How can remembering the grave help us make a better choice today?
