For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that our faith connects us to Ibrahim and his example of devotion through difficult tests. He compared a believer to a good tree: firmly rooted, reaching outward, and benefiting others. Being firm in faith does not mean we never feel sad or angry; those feelings are natural. Through the story of Maryam, he encouraged us to make our effort and trust Allah with the rest. He also reminded us to spread kindness, even with a smile, to nurture beauty inside and outside, and to leave lasting good through charity and children who make dua.

  2. Who could you encourage with a smile or a small act of kindness this week?
  3. What could we start as a family that would keep helping people for a long time?
